Simon Jansen trained as a stockbroker with Bell Lawrie Ltd in Edinburgh before embarking on a career in fund management in South East Asia working for a wholly owned subsidiary of Jardines and latterly Aberdeen Trust. He returned to the UK in 1995 establishing Jansen Asset Management to provide professional property management services to expatriate investors. Based in the North of England, JAM applies a disciplined investment management approach to property as another element of an international asset portfolio. A detailed analysis of return on equity is complemented by sound day to day management of the actual properties.

In 2002 Jansen Asset Management took the strategic decision to heavily reduce its exposure to an overbought UK market and look for new opportunities in Europe. Having identified Mallorca as one of the key European property markets he established a full time presence in Palma and invited David Coreth to join him in forming Blue Asset Management.

David Coreth has over 20 years experience in the residential and investment property sector. Based in London for Hamptons he was posted in 1990 to Hong Kong to set up their International office specialising in prime European residential investments with particular emphasis towards the United Kingdom as well as France, Mallorca and Portugal.

In 1994 David established "London (Far East) Developments" in Hong Kong concentrating on private client property investment portfolios and was the representative for Taylor Woodrow Capital Developments.

Returning to England in 1998 he developed properties in Wiltshire and was invited to join in creating Blue Asset Management in 2002.

Dominic Shapeero has lived and worked in Mallorca for the past 18 years. Originally he came to the island to work within the renown Puerto Portals development project marketing their residential, commercial and marina portfolio.

Working with Mesquida Russell estate agency in association with Hamptons International, Dominic formed a close relationship with David Coreth who represented them in the buoyant Far East market in the early 1990´s.

Subsequently he formed the Vida Balear Agency, associated with Knight Frank, specialising in the top end of the residential and commercial property market. The company has been responsible for some of the leading projects on the island.

Since 1999 Dominic has been wholly independent as a specialist property consultant, acquiring on behalf of private clients some of the finest properties in Mallorca and simultaneously establishing a bespoke project and estate management company. He joined Blue Asset Management as a full partner in 2003 bringing his wealth of experience and local knowledge.
